At Equipe Cycle Coaching, we specialising in road racing, time trials, sportive and Triathlon for both experienced riders and those new to cycling. Here’s how we support and improve our riders:
Our online training plans combine physical training, skill development, nutritional advice and event planning all in the one place. Using Training Peaks as your online training diary means that no matter where you are, we will support you. We do this by planning your day-to-day activities, track your workouts and measure your progress. Using a cycling power meter or heart rate monitor, we use the data to progress your riding to the next level. Regular feedback sessions help to evaluate training and plan for the following week.
Training plan feedback can be delivered via email, phone or Skype.
The science of training for cycling is ever advancing, and one of the biggest successes in recent times comes in the form of strength and conditioning (S&C). But don’t be fooled into thinking that it’s all about lifting massive weights. The aim with S&C is to develop riders and triathletes to improve physical performance and prevent injury. Be it through plyometrics, speed and agility, core stability and strength training. Our strength and conditioning personal training is available in Edinburgh and Peebles.
As Head Coach and owner at Equipe, I am a British Cycling Level 3 Road and Time Trial coach and Level 2 Mountain Bike and Track qualified cycling coach. In addition to this I have Strength and Conditioning and Personal Training qualifications. I have experience of racing competitively, and I live, eat and breathe cycling, so whatever your cycling needs, I will work with you to ensure you reach your peak potential!
